Olivia Perez | Company Dancer
Olivia was born and raised in the St. Louis area, dancing since the age of 3.Throughout her years she has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, jazz funk, contemporary, hip hop, modern, and poms. Growing up she danced with the St. Louis Academy of Dance Pazzaz Performers, Eureka Golden Line Dance team, and the Ashleyliane Dance Company junior company. Olivia is also a National Dance Alliance and Universal Dance Association All-American Dancer. She is a PULSE on Tour scholarship recipient and was invited to attend the PULSE intensive in New York City where she trained under Sisco Gomez of So You Think You Can Dance, UK and LA dancer and choreographer Renee Ritchie. Additionally, she has also won scholarships to Broadway Dance Center and the D(n)A Arts Collective workshop with Daisha Graf and Alicia Graf Mack.
Professionally, she was a member of the multidisciplinary dance company Ashleyliane Dance Company from 2013-2015, where she performed contemporary, jazz and hip hop choreography by Ashley L. Tate, Richard "Tiger" Woods, and Geoffrey Alexander. She also danced in Our Money Matters the Musical by Gifted Productions and in the Peridance Capezio Center Student Showcase in New York City in 2014. Olivia previously taught at Wildwood Dance and Arts in Wildwood, Missouri and currently teaches at MJ Performing Arts Academy LLC in Webster Groves, Missouri.
Olivia is working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications with a minor in Spanish from Webster University, where she was the first-ever recipient of the school’s prestigious Donald M. Suggs scholarship.
