Kirsta Paul


Kirsta comes from Washington State where she was classically trained at Pacific Northwest Ballet School.  She also trained at Cornish Ballet School, Washington Academy of Performing Arts, Turning Pointe Dance Center andWestlake Dance Centerin a variety dance forms. In 2003 she performed as a face character with Tokyo Disneyland.  Kirsta graduated from Principia College with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater and Dance. After graduating, she performed in the musicals, Oklahomaand Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoatwith Missouri Baptist University.  She also danced with The Slaughter Projectin St. Louis. She also taught ballet classes at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA). In 2010 she moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University’s graduate program to earn her elementary teaching degree. During the course of her time teaching in Boston Public Schools, she taught dance and performed with Jeanette Neill’s Dance Studio and the Boston Community Dance Project with Sarah Kay Jerome-Clark.  Most recently she moved back to St. Louis from Los Angeles. During her time in Los Angeles, she coached the Berkeley Hall School dance team and taught 2nd grade.  She also took dance classes including contemporary, hip-hop, jazz funk and ballet at The EDGE Performing Arts Center, Millennium Dance Complex, andDebbie Reynolds Legacy Studios.  


Kirsta is thrilled to be dancing with Consuming Kinetics Dance Companyas an apprentice.  She is committed to the mission of the company and is excited to share her artistic talent and teaching experience with the greater St. Louis community.
