Dominique Fulton | Company Apprentice
Dom started dancing at the age of 13 primarily doing hip hop. Beginning in after-school programs, discovering his passion for dance helped him become a more outgoing and extroverted child. He became a part of several dance teams and performance-based organizations in high school. His passion for dance continued through to college at Northwest Missouri State University where he studied Theatre and Deaf Studies. Through his school's theatre department he gained experience in musical theatre dance and choreography. He was also part of the Northwest Dance Company and there he found exposure and developed a strong love for many other styles including jazz, tap, and clogging. He remained the Northwest Dance Company's Historian for most of his college career and also choreographed for the company. For 3 years he taught hip hop at A Step Ahead Dance Company. Through this company he found a love for and began training in ballet and contemporary dance. After graduating he came back home to St. Louis where he performed with the St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre and at the Kansas City Fringe Festival. He is beyond excited to continue dancing as a company apprentice and to learn as much as possible from Arica and the other amazing artists of CKDC.
