Carly Niehaus | Assistant Executive Director | Dancer | Educator | Resident Choreographer
Carly (Mount Vernon, IN) began ballet training at the age of 4 with Evansville Dance Theater. She continued to dance through high school, expanding her vocabulary to include modern, jazz, tap and musical theatre. At the suggestions of her musical theater teacher and high school choreographer, Cheryl Sanders, her love of dance took her to Webster University where she earned her B.F.A. in dance, training under such talented artists as Bekah Reed, Alicia Graf-Mack, Michael Utoff, Iyun Harrison and other guest artists. She has also participated in summer workshops with Nashville Ballet, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Hedwig Dances, Atlanta Ballet and enjoyed a week at the Jazz Dance World Congress learning jazz styles from companies across the United States as well as Japan and Mexico. After graduation, Carly worked with the Windsor Theatre Group on several musical reviews and continued as a teacher at several studios around the St. Louis area. This is Carly's first professional season with CKDC.
